NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. ELIGIBILITYThe Stride Ready. Set. Goal. Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open to individuals who at the time of completing an Entry (defined below), (1) have signed up for a Stride Save* account with Stride and have an active account in good standing (as defined by the Stride Save terms and conditions) during the Sweepstakes Period (defined below) and have been an active Driver with Roadie (driving at least once) with Roadie during the sweepstakes period, (2) are at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is older, and (3) are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or District of Columbia (excludes NY and FL) and (4) have received an email from Roadie regarding the Sweepstakes. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. If you do not have a Stride Save account, applying for one is free. By signing up for a Stride Save account, you agree to the Stride Save terms and conditions. The following individuals are not eligible to enter or win a prize: employees, representatives, agents, directors, and officers of Roadie and Stride Savings LLC . (“Sponsor”) and parent, subsidiary, or affiliated companies; any marketing agencies and any other parties involved in the administration of the Sweepstakes, and each of the immediate family members of such excluded individuals (i.e., spouses, parents, children, siblings, in-laws, and, as applicable, the “steps” of each) and all persons living in the same household of each, whether or not related. By participating in this Sweepstakes, participants agree to be bound by these official rules (“Official Rules”) and by the decisions of the Sponsor in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.
2. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD
The Sweepstakes begins via email invitation and is valid from 12:00 am PST September 10, 2024 and ends 11:59 pm PST October 1, 2024 (“Sweepstakes Period”). All entries must be completed and received during the Sweepstakes Period. Sponsor’s computer is the official time keeping device for the Sweepstakes.
3. HOW TO ENTER
During the Sweepstakes Period, individuals may enter the Sweepstakes in one of two ways (each an “Entry”):
Set up a Stride Save Account (subject to approval) and
set a goal using the Stride Save user interface and,
deposit any amount of money into your Stride Save account
OR
Limit of one entry per person during the Sweepstakes Period, regardless of entry method. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means or by any means which subvert the entry process are void. All Entries become the property of Sponsor and none will be acknowledged or returned. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor.
4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
On or about October 7, 2024, 50 winners will be randomly selected from the eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received and completion of the entry qualifications. Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winner(s) on or before October 15, 2024 via the email address provided via entry method.
Potential winner(s) may be required to sign and return documents requested by Sponsor, including but not limited to, an affidavit of eligibility and liability and publicity release (unless prohibited by law).
If a potential winner (i) is determined to be ineligible, (ii) fails to respond to the initial verification message within one (1) week of notification or after three (3) attempts (whichever occurs first), (iii) fails to return all required documentation fully executed within the specific period of time, (iv) is not in compliance with these Official Rules, or (v) declines to accept the prize, the potential winner forfeits the prize in its entirety and an alternate winner may be selected at Sponsor’s sole discretion and time permitting. Up to three (3) alternate winners will be selected for any prize after which such prize will remain unawarded. Prize will be distributed to winner(s) via the method communicated by Sponsor to winner(s).
5. PRIZE(S)
50 people who qualify will be selected at random to receive one (1)of the prizes listed below, which will be added directly to their new Stride Save demand deposit account.
A $100 cash deposit in US Dollars to their Stride Save account
In the event the above is not possible a MasterCard virtual gift card in the amount of $100 USD will be delivered.
Collectively, the total Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of all Prizes: $5,000. These prizes will be awarded into the Stride Save accounts of winners on or before October 15, 2024 or via the gift card method described above.
Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either expressed or implied by Sponsor. Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, local, or other applicable taxes as well as all costs and expenses associated with acceptance and use of a prize not specified herein as being provided.
Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) of comparable or greater value in its sole discretion. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Limit one (1) prize per person. Sponsor is under no obligation to award more than the number of prizes stated herein.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE
By entering this sweepstakes, entrant accepts and agrees to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final in all matters. By entering this sweepstakes, entrants waive all right to, and hold harmless Roadie and the Sponsor from, any claim, liability, loss, damage (including punitive, incidental, and consequential damages), or expense (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with participation in this sweepstakes or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. Acceptance of a prize also constitutes permission to the Sponsor to use winner's name and likeness, and biographical information for marketing purposes without further compensation or right of approval, unless prohibited by law. Sponsor will not be responsible for: lost, late, misdirected, damaged, illegible, incomplete, incorrect, or postage due entries; lost, late, or misdirected prize notices; or any typographical, or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the sweepstakes, or announcement of the prize[s]. In the event of any such error, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify this sweepstakes in a manner deemed appropriate by the Sponsor, at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. All federal and state laws apply.
8. LEGAL WARNING
ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL, WHETHER OR NOT A PARTICIPANT, TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND DILIGENTLY PURSUE ALL REMEDIES AGAINST ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
9. SPONSOR’S RESERVATION OF RIGHTS
If the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including without limitation, due to a force majeure event or infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who is responsible or who tampers with the entry process or otherwise acts in violation of these Official Rules, and to cancel, modify, or terminate the Sweepstakes. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prizes in its discretion based on all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to cancellation. In the event that an entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost or destroyed, entrant’s sole remedy shall be another entry into the Sweepstakes.
10. GOVERNING LAW, JURISDICTION, AND SEVERABILITY
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrants’ rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. By entering, entrants agree to the jurisdiction and venue of the state and local courts located in San Francisco County, California and the federal courts located in the Northern District of California for the resolution of all disputes, and agree that any and all disputes shall be resolved exclusively in those courts. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision. If any provision of these Official Rules is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck, and the remaining provisions shall be enforced.
11. PRIVACY & PERSONAL INFORMATION
Any personally identifiable information collected during an entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes will be collected by Sponsor or its designee and used by Sponsor for the proper administration and fulfillment of the Sweepstakes and as otherwise described in these Official Rules, and in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy
