From Stride’s CEO: COVID-19 Support

covid-19 support

I wanted to let you know that we just launched a COVID-19 Resource Center designed specifically for independent workers like you, with a simple, but important goal in mind: to help you stay physically and financially healthy

Here’s what you’ll find:

Income opportunities & tax credits

We’ll keep you updated on all of the important information that affects independent workers, like how you can benefit from tax credits if you have to miss work or take care of a loved one, or how you can boost your income if you’re experiencing a drop in hours.

Medical assistance

We’ve partnered with Doctor on Demand to help you save money on online doctor visits and info to see if your insurance plan covers the costs. You’ll also find information on how to get tested and a link to get a free COVID-19 assessment.

Health insurance

If you already have health insurance, you’ll find some useful information about how you can use your insurance plan to get care. If you don’t have insurance, you might be eligible to enroll right now, and we’ll help you access subsidies to lower your premiums. The good news is, health insurance is often less expensive than you might think: 40% of people who use Stride pay less than $25 per month for complete major medical insurance.

Financial assistance

You’ll find help understanding the latest changes to government aid, ways to access financial support to lower your bills, how to use new tax credits, and tips to reduce your everyday expenses.

These are just a few of the ways in which we plan to support you as we navigate the COVID-19 crisis. We’ll keep you posted as we update this and other tools and resources.

Thank you for being a Stride member!

Sincerely,

Noah Lang
